A first coaching session works best when you do not have to think about logistics. Here is what makes the hour useful from the very first minute.
Most people contact me because they are tired of tidying the same corner of the flat every weekend. They expect the first session to be about sorting shelves or buying boxes. In reality, the first consultation is mostly a conversation about how you live, where things pile up, and what you actually want from your space.
To make that conversation useful, you do not need a perfect home or a list of problems. You only need a few small things prepared in advance, so we can spend the time on your situation instead of on practical details.
Take a look at the rooms that bother you most. You do not have to clean them. Just notice where the mess appears and when. Is it the hallway every morning, the kitchen counter after dinner, or the children's room on weekends? A simple note about the pattern helps more than a general wish for a tidy flat.
If you can, take a few photos of those spots. Not for me to judge, but so we both see the same thing. Photos also help if you are joining online and cannot show the room live.
Try to describe an ordinary day in your home. Who leaves first in the morning, where do bags and jackets land, when does the kitchen get used the most. This is not about creating a perfect routine. It is about understanding which systems will actually survive contact with real life.
Families with small children or pets have different needs than someone living alone. That is fine. The point of the first session is to find out what kind of order is realistic for you, not what looks good in a magazine.
There is no such thing as a silly question here. People often ask whether they need to buy storage containers, how to handle sentimental items, or whether we can work on just one drawer. All of that is useful. If you have a specific problem that has been bothering you for months, write it down so we do not forget it during the conversation.
If you are unsure whether you need a single session or a longer process, that is exactly what we can figure out together. The first consultation is not a commitment to a full programme. It is a chance to see whether this way of working suits you.
By the end of the session, you should have a clear idea about the first space we can tackle and what the next step looks like. You will also receive a simple plan for that space, so you can start even before the next meeting. No pressure to buy anything or to rearrange your whole home overnight.
The goal is modest: to make your daily life a little easier, one room at a time.
O autorici
